My Phaser 6350DP is busted!?

Not exactly busted, but just had a control panel screen failure. When I first saw it, I thought my darn expensive printer is busted. However, it still prints perfectly fine. It is just a control panel screen that went bad. I contacted Xerox, and was told that it is a common issue with Phaser 6350. Even though I do not have a warranty, they were kind enough to send me a replacement part with FedEx Second Day Air without any cost to me. Thanks Xerox!!!!

Hi,
Who did you talk to at Xerox? I'm having the same problem but haven't found anyone offering to replace it for free. Do you remember the number/ext you called?

Thanks,

Hi,

Sorry for slow reply.

I didn't call. Xerox will charge for phone support unless you have a valid warranty.

I emailed through Xerox web site, and got replied from a nice gentleman, Paul Thibodeau.

He immediately gave me a free replace without asking me any other question, and told me that it is a common with all 6350s.

Thanks
